Passenger, or someone the bus hit
Get medical care first if you need it. Then call. You do not have to fill out a form. Calling is enough.
Note the bus company or agency if you know it, the route or bus number if you have it, and witnesses. Photograph the scene if you can do that safely. If police came, keep the report number.
If a city or public agency may be involved, call promptly. Deadlines can be short. Call and ask about the timing that applies to your facts.
Do not give a recorded statement to an insurer before you have spoken to a lawyer. If the crash also involved a car or a truck, say that when you call.
