Mediation
The Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø has been helping victims of lead poisoning and serious personal injuries for more than 40 years, and we are proud of that legacy. If you were told a dispute should go to mediation, or you want to know what that word means before you call, please call for a free consultation. There is no fee to speak to us or for us to evaluate your potential case.
Michael Stewart Frankel and Reuven S. Frankel can discuss mediation when it comes up in a New York injury case. Call The Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø at (212) 888-5100.
What mediation means here
Mediation is typically voluntary. This firm has used it in large lead-poisoning cases and in other significant cases. A mediator works toward a resolution short of a jury trial. Whether mediation fits a case, how long it takes, and what it costs depend on the facts. Call and we will review your situation.
Arbitration is different. Arbitration generally needs consent, and it is usually not used in personal injury. Whether that is true of a particular dispute depends on the papers. Call. Do not treat this paragraph as a rule for your case.
Mediation can also come up in childhood lead poisoning cases — see Lead poisoning lawyer.
